HOSPICE CARE
We provide hospice care for shelter dogs nearing end of life with no potential adoption in site. We take them on a few last wish adventures and provide a safe and loving environment to live out the rest of their days. Feeling comfort and love before they say goodbye…it’s a beautiful thing.
DAY CAMP
We provide low-cost socialization, basic training and/or confidence building for your canine. 100% of funds raised go directly to helping CRCCS dogs in recovery.
SLEEPOVERS
Did you adopt from CRCCS? Or maybe your dog isn’t welcome (or isn’t comfortable) at daycare or other boarding facilities. Don’t worry, we speak dog! We provide fun overnight (or a few nights) support with our sleep-over program, ensuring your pet has a safe and happy place to stay while you’re away.

Max Anderson
Overall l walked away with a good impression of the staff, polite, professional and they seem to be willing to take on the problem dogs which is no small feat. I give them credit for what they are striving to do there.
Julia Miller
Don’t shop, adopt! They are a wonderful organization that helps dogs. Very caring and friendly people here. I found my Abby here. Also a great place to volunteer to walk the dogs.
Dominic Taylor
Staff is friendly and the dogs love going there. They have helped rehome dogs that are difficult to place matching the dogs needs with new owners.

Louise
We are so proud of how far she has come since her arrival in January 2023. She is so much fun! She cruises around on our trails, runs up ramps like a champ, participates in group walks, and does a fine job rounding up her toys every day. She LOVES her toys!!

Bella
Originally sold on Craigslist, then resold/rehomed again and again. Each home lasted anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. It didn’t take long for the owners to realize it wasn’t a good match and the very behavior that was creating the challenge was then passed on to the next person.
It is very common for people to adopt based on look, breed, and size but it can lead to a very long and difficult road for many dogs. This was the case for Bella.
This beautiful girl is 6 years old; has completed our program and made amazing strides in her recovery! When she first arrived at CRCCS, we had mountains of work ahead of us in every area. Her journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Bella knows our foundation behavior training and works hard to expand her social circle with both people and animals. She is now one of the most trained dogs in our facility performing a variety of tasks and tricks with verbal markers, hand signals, line signaling and more. Her vocabulary is quite extensive.
Bella is full of energy, character, opinions, and entertainment. She is extremely intelligent and will only succeed in an environment that loves to maintain structure, training, and mental engagement. She’s been waiting for her angel to appear. It’s time!
Bella is now one of our longer-term residents available for adoption. As is the case with many of our dogs, the wait isn’t due to lack of interest. It becomes about finding what Bella needs to succeed.
Dogs like Bella just need someone to stop the cycle of returns, take the time to get to know her personality and HER needs. Her next family needs to provide the proper training, so that she can succeed.
Bella has stabilized, is alive and well, trained, eager to learn more, and available for adoption. Please call 775-800-1906 Tuesday through Saturday to make an appointment to meet this sweet girl!!

Kairi
In less than a year, our girl may or may not be a candidate for specialized hip surgery. Until then, it’s about pain management and providing quality of life with your presence and love.
CRCCS will be by your side every step of the way, providing food, supplies, medication, support, transport, and a safe place for Kairi to stay whenever you travel.
Age: 4 years old
Weight: 115 Lbs
Kids: No
Animals: No small animals or high energy dogs
Kairi is an Alaskan Malamute. Kairi’s hip problems began at 6 months of age. Her hip sockets are gone and one hip is completely dislocated. As her disease progresses, we are diligently following the advice of our veterinarian through all the phases of Kairi’s care, pain management, various tests, x-rays, a special diet, PT, and surgery if she qualifies.
For now, a quiet, one-story home environment with a human to bond with can help. No small animals or children. No high energy dogs. She is house-trained and walks around like a normal dog but needs to refrain from using stairs, being asked to sit, climb or go up/down any inclines.
Since her new pain management regimen began, she has been doing much better. She is still her sweet, affectionate, playful self, just more relaxed and in a better mental state.
Can you help foster this girl?

Quinn
Quinn is non-stop entertainment. There is simply too much to see and do out there, no time to waste! She’s a parkour champion and an Olympic level athlete at the same time!
Weight: 31 lbs
Age: 4
Kids: No Kids
Dogs: No other animals
The key to Quinn’s heart is engagement. Ask her to learn something new or engage you in an activity that requires brain power, and she is all in. She is a smart cookie! Not many people have what it takes to fulfill Quinn but that’s exactly why she’s here. They’ll be one lucky human to have her. She’s a ton of fun!
